Ever struggle getting an idea down on paper or figuring out how to get started with it? This workshop will solve that problem. It focuses on taking business, product, and service ideas and transforming them into a business model, the logic for delivering your solution to the market or people and organizations you serve.

Ideas need to be transformed to provable concepts before you can even think to implement. This three-week webinar series provides a roadmap to help you do just that. It is a great tool for entrepreneurs, companies, service agencies, non-profits, community organizations, etc. It is an abbreviated version of a full two-day workshop entitled, "Mapping the DNA of an Idea."

This workshop walks you through the process of ideation - defining your idea.

Topics covered include:

  • Understanding what an idea is.
  • Illustrating the ideation process.
  • Defining a problem or need and its context.
  • Identifying and characterizing stakeholders, including customers.
  • Mapping the components of your idea.
  • Creating a road map and action plan to further develop idea.
  • Accessing a co-development and funding platform.

This is an online workshop that runs once a week on Tuesdays for three weeks.

This is a pre-program offering for Venture Cultivation programs which provide coaching, support, resources and funding for start-ups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

About Us:

The Afribiz Foundation serves as a catalyst and facilitator of ecosystems that create and leverage economic opportunities for people and organizations in Africa and around the world.

Afribiz is leveraging its partnership ecosystems to see more ventures and enterprises develop and mature into sustainable businesses. The center of this effort is the Venture Cultivation methodology which supports ventures to move from the stage of idea to concept to seed to start-up and finally growth. As ventures and enterprises mature through this path, Afribiz brings resources, capital, partnerships, etc. to ventures either of its own or through partners.
